Redbird Farm

COMING SOON

Stay tuned for our big reveal! Our new website is almost done. It's being revamped, and it will be simpler to sign up and pay for lessons. And there's something new coming up, but I'm not letting the cat out of the bag yet! You'll have to wait and see...

Hi! Welcome to Redbird Farm, and thanks for visiting. Sorry the website isn't up and running right now. If you're a repeat visitor, you may have noticed that things on this site keep changing. I'm Jill, the business owner, and I want to reassure you that we are still here and still in business. The past few years have not been the greatest for my family or my business. My husband was diagnosed with colon cancer in December of 2019. He fought it for over three years, but sadly lost the battle in September of 2023. During those three years, we had to shut our doors twice to protect his health due to Covid, and many students were unable to resume lessons because of the effects of Covid on the economy and their jobs. Also, property maintenance has been low on the priority list, and we ended up with a jungle of weeds around the arena and a forest growing over our little trail! Now my mom and I are in the process of catching up on all the things that have been neglected recently. It's going to be a long process, as it's just the two of us most of the time, and we have family obligations, along with my father's declining health.

I don't tell you this to gain sympathy, but to let my former, current, and prospective students know that there is a reason that our service list keeps changing. I'm trying to find my way through all that has changed in my life and rebuild this business at the same time. I have found myself changing my mind frequently about all the business decisions that need to be made.

Please bear with me while I get my act together. Horses are out of shape, and I only have 2 that can do lessons right now. We need new fences rather badly. It's looking a little shabby around here, but lessons must go on, so I have decided to scale down the lesson program while I am busy getting all the work caught up. I have to do what I can handle. The site should only be down for a short time while I sort out the details, but in the meantime, please contact me if you are wanting a lesson. Below is my contact form and my phone number, so don't be afraid to reach out and schedule a lesson.

Let's make 2024 be the year that Redbird Farm comes back better than ever!
