If you're new to horses, you may not be familiar with the concept of leasing a horse.  A lease gives you the opportunity to try out a long-term commitment to a horse without the upfront cost of purchasing one. It also comes without the responsibility of providing for the horse into old age. Many older horses wind up in very unfortunate situations because their owners no longer have any use for them. 

We offer leases to riders who are proficient in basic horse care and who can ride independently both in and out of the arena. Parents who meet these criteria may lease a horse for their children to ride only under direct supervision of the parent or in a lesson with an approved instructor.
