The horses are at the heart of what we do at Redbird Farm. It takes a very special horse to be a school horse, and ours are no exception.
Henry
Favorite Treat: Sugar Cubes
A gentle giant, Henry is as huggable as a teddy bear. He is also one of the best lesson horses ever, teaching beginner through advanced riders.
Pepper
Favorite Treat: Carrots
Pepper is every kid's favorite lesson pony. He has taught many children to ride and loves his job.
Onyx
Favorite Treat: Apples
Onyx is a sassy diva, and she loves people more than other horses. She is a great lesson horse for more advanced students, because she lets you know if you're not riding just right.
Todd
Favorite Treat: Carrots
Todd is our oldest horse at nearly 30 years. He is blind in his right eye, so he startles if you approach him on that side. He doesn't like to stand around being groomed and saddled, but once you're on he's one of the best to ride!
Moe
Favorite Treat: Horse cookies
Moe used to be a fancy jumper. Sometimes he forgets that he isn't still young and he acts a bit silly. After some rehab to get back in shape, he will hopefully enjoy his new job helping riders move up in the levels.
