Riding Lessons

Service Description

Private lessons at Redbird Farm will give you a great introduction to horsemanship and riding. Beginner lessons include instruction in grooming, saddling, and bridling a horse before riding, and caring for the horse after riding. There are approximately 30 minutes of ride time in beginner lessons. More experienced students can come to the farm early to get tacked up and ready and will spend more of their time in the saddle improving their riding skills. They will then be responsible for untacking and putting away the equipment and the horse. All riders are required to wear an approved equestrian helmet when mounted. Please wear long pants and sturdy boots with a one inch heel. A liability release form must be on file for all participants.
